Two Dutch MP’s suggested to postpone municipal elections because they fear that voter turnout will be lower due to the rather cold weather lately. Everybody jumped on them. These social democrats know they are low in the polls, or they don’t want to get a cold nose during canvassing. But what if they genuinely feared a loter voter turnout?
